See also Purple heart and Pink heart.

I bought a bunch of orange gerberas yesterday as a present for a friend, and I just couldn't resist. I was quite pleased with the results, especially considering I shot on my hated p & s digicam which needs the sensor fixed/cleaned/or something.

I took a few and couldn't decide which one to submit, so this was the one my husband thought was best. Would love to know what you think.

gorgeous, very vibrant and eye-catching :D

The focus could maybe be a bit sharper, but the colours and composition make up for that. :D

Give the Insects and Spiders category some lurve.

Thank you :D
I agree about the focus - there's something wrong with the sensor on that camera I think. There is always a part of the image that is out of focus.

I think the detail and the color are very good indeed. And the way the heart is of-centre is also well chosen. Good work.
